Kevin Hand

Kevin has worked as a sports reporter, editor and broadcaster since 2001. Now based between Ireland and the UK, he writes and edits news, features, sports commentary and explainers for Al Jazeera, with a particular focus on football and cricket, including managing coverage of the World Cups. He previously worked at Capital Gold, the national commercial football broadcaster in the UK; and the BBC, where he worked as a sports reporter in both television and radio, and wrote for the BBC Sport website. His commentaries have also featured on Sky Sports and Premier Sports in the UK. Kevin has reported extensively from the Caribbean, Abu Dhabi, Ireland, the UK and other countries in Europe.
