Trump: Every American gets $5,000 if Republicans win House & Senate

During a speech at the Republican National Committee midterm convention, Donald Trump promised a $5,000 ‘dividend’ to every adult US citizen if Republicans retain control of the House and Senate in November’s midterm elections. If enacted, Trump’s plan would cost $1.2 trillion.
